If you remember, a few days ago security firm Check Point discovered Judy malware that is present in Google Play store. Judy is an adware generator that was present in 41 applications developed by the Korean company Kiniwini. This adware uses infected devices to generate large volumes of fraudulent clicks on ads, converting into revenue for their creators. Malicious programs totals between 4.5 and 18.5 million downloads. Well, Android security flaws that are surfacing now affect the old versions of the OS or needed clever social engineering to get the user to weaken device security. The version of Android being released now is more stable compared to what Google was putting out years ago. Because of this, no one has managed to claim Google’s largest bug bounties for Android. Well, to attract more researchers and engineers to Google’s bug bounty program, the tech giant has increased the rewards to up to $2,00,000. So, Google has increased the bounty for finding a bug in an Android operating system to as much as $2,00,000. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
