So, do you have an old phone that the manufacturer or carrier has stopped pushing updates to? Then don’t worry about that as the CyanogenMod community could make your old phone alive. Yes, earlier if you all remember, we told you all that CyanogenMod 14 will arrive very soon and what are the devices this latest ROM will be available in the beginning which will be based on Android 7.1 Nougat. So, at that time if your device was not mentioned in the list then do not worry, as we told earlier that soon they will include or add more devices in the coming weeks. Guess, what’s the most interesting thing about this? Even, the founder of the CyanogenMod community, Steve Kondik also said “More devices will be added to the list over the coming weeks and maintainers bring everything up to date, so if you don’t see your device listed here just give us a bit of time”. Finally, the popular ROM community added more devices and here’s the full list of devices that have received CM14.1 nightlies since our last article:
Google Android One 2nd gen (seed) # HTC One A9 (GSM International) (hiaeUhl) # LG Optimus L70 (w5) # Motorola Moto E LTE (2015) (surnia) # Motorola Moto X Play (lux) # Samsung Galaxy S III (AT&T) (d2att) # Samsung Galaxy S III (T-Mobile) (d2tmo) # Samsung Galaxy S5 (Korea) (kltekor)
Here is the list of the first devices that will be able to taste CM 14.1 first. Currently, the new ROM will be available on the download page of CyanogenMod from where you simply download the latest ROM.
