Samsung is planning to introduce big changes in the coming flagship because of the cancellation of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 which was the hottest Android smartphone in the world had seen until it went up in flames. So, there are few rumors making rounds on the internet that suggests next year’s Galaxy S8 is going to be well worth the wait. So, here are the five biggest changes we all are expecting from Samsung Galaxy S8:
All- Screen Design
We had already discussed it in one of our previous articles. Inside sources of Bloomberg suggests that Galaxy S8 will feature a futuristic new design with an all-screen nearly bezel-less display like the Xiaomi Mi Mix. The reports also claim that the bezel sizes will be reduced drastically above and below the screen.
No Home Button
As we mentioned above that Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature all-screen design. So, Samsung’s typical oblong home button will be no longer present on the screen. The functionality of home button will shift to taps and gestures performed on the screen. The fingerprint scanner will be embedded beneath the display.
Powerful Processors
Well, we already know this that Samsung Galaxy S8 is about to feature the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Reports suggest that Samsung Galaxy S8 will adopt Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 256 GB Internal storage. The company is also expected to use their own Exynos 9 series chip for European and other markets.
Personal Assistant
Viv, Samsung will feature the virtual personal assistant VIV. Viv is created by one of the Siri’s co-creator and the creator claims that it will supposedly better. Samsung’s personal assistant Viv will debut on next year’s Galaxy S8.
Goodbye 3.5mm headphone Jack
After Apple removed the 3.5mm headphone jack from its latest iPhone 7. Now, it’s time for Samsung to ditch 3.5mm headphone jack from the upcoming Galaxy S8. The reports came from SamMoble, a company closely connected to Samsung claims that Galaxy S8 will arrive without the 3.5mm headphone jack.
